Guanxi honey pomelo fruit is a largest citrus fruit native toPinghe, China. It is usually pale green to yellow when ripe, withsweet white (or, more rarely, pink or red) flesh and very thickspongy rind. It is the largest citrus fruit, 15-25 cm in diameter,and usually weighing 1-2 kg. Other names for pomelo includepummelo, pommelo, Chinese grapefruit, jabong, lusho fruit,pompelmous, shaddock.

 

So far Guanxi  pomelo farms in Pinghe has a totalplantation area of 500, 000 hectares, with a pomelo output of600, 000 tons and an output value of 1.4 billion yuan. Inaddition, the export volume has reached  80, 000 tons.
